JOIN THE WILDS

The Wilds are not built alone.

They grow through places, people, and shared discovery.

Whether you are exploring, creating, or building something of your own—
there is a place for you within them.

The L odge is where explorers gather.

Entries are recorded.

Questions are asked.

Discoveries are shared.

If you choose to enter, you do so as a participant — not an observer.

Firekin

A Firekin is a fire-centered gathering designed to bring people together for shared presence, conversation, and exchange.

It can be organized as part of an event, community night, or informal meet-up. A fire is established as a central point, and participants gather around it to talk, listen, and spend time together.

A Firekin does not rely on a fixed schedule, activity, or performance. It is not led or directed once it begins. The role of the fire is to provide a shared center; the experience is shaped by the people present.

During a Firekin:

  • Participants engage in open conversation

  • Stories, experiences, and ideas may be shared

  • Attention naturally shifts between speakers without formal structure

  • The group maintains a relaxed but present atmosphere

Not every fire gathering becomes a Firekin in a meaningful sense. The depth of interaction depends on the participants, the environment, and the time spent together.

Firekin can take place in a range of settings, including:

  • campsites and outdoor fires

  • community events and hosted gatherings

  • craft, food, or exploration-based meetups

A Firekin is defined by:

  • a shared physical center (the fire)

  • voluntary participation

  • sustained presence

  • open, respectful exchange

When these conditions come together, the gathering may develop into a more connected and memorable shared experience.
